WORK WITH Me!

Amanda Munson

I am a CA credentialed teacher with 13 years of teaching experience and over 20 years math tutoring experience. I am passionate about helping students gain proficiency and confidence in math. So many people (adults and children) think of math as a "have" or "have not" skill. In fact, our brains are elastic. We have the ability to challenge and grow our brains every day, creating new pathways for learning.

Math does NOT have to be hard. You can be a successful math student.

As a credentialed teacher, I help you:

➕ Grow your math mindset. Math makes sense.

➕ Build fundamental math vocabulary and skills.

➕ Gain confidence as a math student and improve your grades.

“Amanda tutored my two children starting in the summer of 2020, after they went remote at their private school due to Covid. My oldest daughter, in 5th grade at the time, was falling behind in math. My son, who has autism, in kindergarten, was learning to read. She evaluated both kids and worked with them to develop their skills. She tutored the kids for almost two years, and then we moved out of state. I’m very grateful for her help because both kids (now in 10th grade and 5th grade) are straight-A students. I recommend her highly.”
